Where does this 73 Dart interior part go?

I think this thin plastic part fell out from under the dash a long time ago and I just stuck it in the glove box. Where did it come from? I want to put it back.

I'm pretty sure that just wraps around the steering column- over the part that looks like expanded metal.

It was just taped on.

This is correct. It fell into my face when I was hooking up my master cylinder the other day.

Thank you guys. I suspected that is where it came from, but it fell off so long ago I forgot.

Wrap it back around the column and wrap friction tape around it. Strips of gorilla tape works great
