Replacing a engine in a 65 Dart for a friend. Anyone know where I can get a Rebuilt 225 longblock? No Junk. Thanks for the help.

Where are you located?

while OP is out Dan do you have any info for me on a short block supplier ?
I have yet to find a 225/6 block to build.

OK, I and we know I have not looked hard enough

Just one so I can get started on building it to replace a perfectly good 170/ I am running now, I have a new head ready that Frank built (66aCUDA) shaved .40 with a step up bigger valves ready to install for a little more displacement, solid lift drool tube

It takes a little doing in the head, the right piston/rod combo, the right cam, but its not to hard. The / is a great engine, and needs some TLC to make it run great.

All the/ guys on hear already know that

The engine as your looking at it, as a long block, was around $4000. The customer supplied the exhaust, intake and other little things to finish it out.

Those pistons are KB Hyper dish.

Yeah Ed, see the "D" cup? that's why I said that other piston you were lookin at aint gonna have much quench. But that D cup or a flat top will.

cant 0 deck a flat top in a slant and expect to run on 87 lol...

EDIT... those have an 18CC dish? and are "near" 0 deck... i would be able to 0 deck with the ones im looking at and have the same CC dish...
