Where to find an evaporator

I have my dash all apart and while its like that I thought id change the evaporator. I havent found one anywhere. I was thinking maybe a local shop could check the one I got. Just wanted to see if anyone had found them somewhere. Thanks

You might look at Hot Rod Air & Vintage Air products for their universal fit evap units. They offer vac & electronic type controls.

I have heard very good things about Classic Auto Air's tech support. They offer a "Perfect Fit" series for many cars that is supposed to use OEM old heater controls to operate their A/C evap. They used to rebuild evaps boxes for people.
