Not sure what it is called, nor how to find one, but on my 2bbl carter the throttle arm only has 2 holes. I have fab'd a flat piece that attaches to this arm using 2 screws, . I want to now be able to hook my throttle spring to one of the screws but unsure how to do it (safely). There must be a small, strong, teardrop shaped piece that would do the job? Any ideas what I need to search for? I envision a 3/4in long straight piece with 2 holes. maybe 3/8in wide?
ideas?

Pics would help....3/8 sounds way to heavy. Stock linkages usually less than 1/8. The extra weight might actually be more harm than good.
