Where's the oil from?

Thought I had seen this before but can't find it. Exactly how does oil get to the rocker arms on a standard 340 setup? Solid shafts. Where does the oil come from?:read2:

Oil travels up thru the block then to the head into the hollow rocker shafts from #2 & #4 cam journals.

are the shafts interchangable form side to side? Can they be installed on the wrong side and cause a oil supply problem?

They can be swapped side to side without a problem "but" they can also be put on upside down resulting in lack of oil to correct side of rocker.
