I was helping my mother in law move in to a new house. Across the street I saw a blue 72 duster sitting with the grass grown up around it enough to where I know its been sitting awhile. I walked over and knocked on the door. The guy said it was his friends and he would probably sell it. He said it had a 340 in it! I dident get the numbers off the block because they were hard to get too. but it did have the hi-po 340 manifolds on it. We shall see! also had a eddy manifold and brand new 4 barrel carb and disk brakes! I know its not an original 340 car though because it has a 7 1/4 rear end. The body was in ok shape but the back quarters were rusted out of course. oh well I just want that motor and disk brake setup.

Sounds like a good find. Try to get numbers off motor and body to check out. Mike

So? What's happening? Don't wait too long or someone else will scoop it, especially since you put the idea in the guys head that someone might actually want it, he'll suddenly realize it's valuable and want to sell it.
