Which borescope for phone

Hi all, looking for reviews recommendations on borescope for Android. What to look for? Articulating, multiple leds, SD card, color?
There's a TON on Amazon around the $40-50 price range with great reviews. But I'm a little skeptical.
Not looking for anything pricey, but something that may work for medical exams

For sure I'd get one that bends into shape and holds it. The plain cord ones are almost useless

I’ve been pretty happy with the DEPSTECH unit I got off Amazon years ago. Works on WiFi signal. Pretty good resolution and very flexible.

I bought a boroscope from Princess Auto years ago....its useless. I recently bought an Amazon iPhone endoscope....not much better. I'm thinking that you get what you pay for

easy to pair with wifi (once you remember it's not searching for bluetooth!) It does shape a bit but I've augmented tighter bends with a coathanger. Oh and the little light at the end freaks hummingbirds out if you forget to turn it off first.
its been great for car projects. I think its about 4mm across and wicked long.

Thanks guys, for car im thinking torque converter inspection, cyl/piston, intake etc etc. Plus whatever home stuff, plumbing etc. Id rather pay a bit more but less than $100. Standalone might be the way to go?

Steve, I just put this one in my cart on Amazon. I caint quite afford it yet, but I will in a few days. Read the reviews on it. Most bad ones are because their phones were not compatible somehow. Look how many GOOD pictures there are people provided.

I used to have one for my old phone, but with the speed that platforms change these days, that was why i decided to go with a stand alone model this time. I don't wanna keep updating and downloading my *** camera.

My bore scope is one of my favorite tools i have bought ever... it has come in soo handy..

I bought a stand alone unit, no phone to deal with just turn it on and go.. only thing i would do different if i bought one now is pay more for one that articulates...

5-8 year old Depsetch inside original 1966 gas tank with 4 year old gas with storage additive. Yes the end dipped into the gas many times. No issues.

Done it before in gas tank to fish out a pickup screen that slid off* One person operating camera through fill tube. Second person fishing out screen looking at phone remotely under car through sender hole.


* swaged end of pickup tube so doesn’t happen again

I did that with my gastank also.. kept waiting to eat some fire I wanted to see what my actually gas level is since my gauge is off my like 1/3 tank.. stop clear gas.. i couldn't see where the level was

P.S. literally just now had the though to put some food coloring in it...

Previous owner passsed away before I thought of asking. But in Southern California dry air with 100% garaged car, it’s much easier on systems

very nice.. and has a side camera... i made the mistake of only a front camera.. you will like it.

Amazon also showed a newer version with 5" screen and a hook/grabber on the end for $89. I told my wife this would be a great tool for around the house, while downplaying my true intent. I gave her links to both versions, I'll be happy with either one!

I have a Depstech I ordered from Amazon a few years ago. I really like it because I can link it to my iPad and get a really big image.

The only thing I don’t like is that sometimes I have to turn off auto connect to my home Wi-Fi because my iPad reverts back to my home Wi-Fi.
