I Just Bought A 360. I Was Told It Was A 1971 But Who Knows. Are There Any Numbers To Tell Me Which Heads I Have. It Has A Electronic Distributor But That May From A Later Year.

should have #'s ending in 915

The # On My Head Is 4027596. It Also Has 360 In Another Place.
The Closes # To Mine Is A 77 To 86 # 4027569. I Know That These Heads Are Not As Good As The 340 X And J Heads But Do The Make Reasonable Good Power?

All 340/360 heads have the same port and chamber design so the potential is the same with all of them, there is nothing special about an X or J head. The early 340 heads had 2.02" diameter intake valves verse the 1.88's in the later 340 and all 360 heads. Your heads can be cut to accept 2.02. BTW, the 2.02 is not really an advantage unless you plan to build for a lot of power (400ish).
