Before we begin I want to let you know I'm building a Pro Touring Car and therefor the stock parts are not required.

The car already has Wilwood Dynalite 12.19" front and rear disc brakes. I'm also planning to use the new Wilwood combination distribution block / proportioning valve.

My question comes from the fact that I want to use power brakes as my wife will be driving the car once in a while. I've been thinking hydraboost since the power steering pump from the 5.7L Hemi is a good pump.

I've got a choice of three different shaft sizes for the master cylinder. Out of these three sizes (7/8", 1" or 1 1/8") which would work best for my application.

I'm planning to use a Wilwood Master and those are the sizes they make.

hydroboost is cool as hell if you can get it. the 1 1/8 mc will have a harder pedal. I've never had Wilwood calipers but have always had better overall performance with the 7/8 bore....
