Which Muscular Mopar Under $60,000 Would You Choose for Your Dream Garage?

Wouldn’t mind another ‘66 or ‘67 Charger. With 60k you could get a perfect 440 car or a hemi car that needs some tlc

I once posted a poll of the best year in Mopar history? 1969 had a narrow lead last I saw. Obviously very argumentative. But I believe the poll averaged correctly. In fact, I believe 1969 is the best year in US automotive design history? All manufacturer considerations.

I would sure like to "relive" my old 70 Roadrunner. I ain't picky. Does not have to be a "real" RR. It could have a number of engine combos, including a 3G. I would love a 5-6 speed gearbox. Likely, I would not paint it limelight

I wish I'd have kept mine
I tell you man, I think the 71 Road Runner and GTX are the meanest lookin Mopars ever made, bar none. I know some like the 70 models, but I've just never seen it.

Wow, very tough to choose one over the others, all great choices. I would personally love to have the 70 'bee for the styling, the colors, and the "cool" factor.

Well if we're stuck with those 4 choices, guess I'd have to take the '68 Runner... but it'd have to be a different colour to fit in with it's bunk mates...

Could pick a couple dozen, but my neighbor had a flawless 2dr 66' Monaco that was triple black with a 383/4, auto, ac, ps, p/drums, buckets and console with 10 & 6" Cragars. He used it to pull his 70 Cuda racecar to the track and i always thought it was nicer then the race car...lol

Similar to this..

Being i our 60s & 70s now, i would love to have a driver like that.

Be to scared to drive a "real" valuable muscle car around these days.

Nice collection. Now you got me thinking about a hoist.
Is your shop 10' side wall height?
10' 3" at shop center, 10'4" at the doors. Floor is sloped so any fluids drain out the doors.
69 440 6 pack or any 71 for me
Not the choices given by the OP's first post. I wouldn't pick any of those either, but what we were presented with by Hemmings! lol

Found this one in 1980 for $800. Would certainly replace it if possible. But 68 Charger, man. That's it.........

A 68 bare bones Road Runner. 383/4 speed, 3.91 sure grip.
1968 Charger would be my first choice. But that right there is a real close second. Girl I knew in the Navy, this would be about 1983, her dad had one. 383 4 speed. Bronze. Let me drive it a bit. Dang I loved that thing. She ended up marrying a very close friend of mine. He still claims he never got to drive it once. LOL
