Which power booster

I have both of these power brake boosters and is one better than another? Its going onto a 67 fish which I think the black one is an original type and the other is a later style.They both will fit the car, just curious if there would be a brake performance issue.

The black one is a Midland-Ross unit which is the correct one for a a 67 and 68 Barracuda, Valiant and Dartwith drum or disc brakes.
The correct part # is 2881536.
