which scoop for a 76 Duster

I have a 76 Duster I dropped a 440 in and I was running a holley carb.650 double pumper. not enough carb. Besides I don't like a holley. So I put a friends edelbrock 750 on to try and a 750 is maybe enough. Probably use an 800 but with the edelbrock, I can't get the hood closed with the cleaner on it. I have a dropped base cleaner ,but still not enough room. I was going with the six pack hood scoop but the ridge in the hood will not let me do it. does anyone know a way around this. Is there a low profile carb or what scoop can I use that is open on the bottom and work with the hood lines.

people all the time on here are using scoops and have the ridge on their hoods, dont worry about it, just work it into the scoop. sand away that area where the ridge is and it will fit right. if you go to a smaller air cleaner say a 10" and youll have to cut a hole in the hood , but youll get the hood to close. im going with a 6 pak scoop on my 74 .
