happy day... sort of lol. i got mafia running today and runs great for a used motor. but driver side is blowing out white smoke. I got a Q-Junk carb in it. the exhaust is the same one that was on the car and sat up sence parked in 1981 and the motor and carb had not been ran for about 2 or 30 years. Or do i have valve probloms? cab was also leaking gas around the base. any ideas on this?
 
or cracked head or block. White smoke is coolant entering the combustion chamber/bore.

Pulls the plugs on that side and look for the really clean one. Thats were your problem is.
 
forgot to meetion that i havent put the radiator in or any coolent. just see if it would start up, was working on fuel pump at the time. sorry for not say that before. smoke also burned my eyes
 
I would probably stop running it with out the radiator in it.

White smoke is still going to be water or coolant in the chambers, Blue would be oil, black would be fuel.
 
looks like i'll be pulling the plugs and puting the rad and coolant in before starting it back up. thanks. i'll post what i find
