Why is this 360 pinging

Don...have him try a tank of Petro Canada 94 octane,it may make a difference.
 
Thanks guys for all the help,he says he is willing to leave it were it is for now,I even said try a colder plug,thicker head gasket to lower compression,aluminum heads,taking timing out is just a band aid right.But no more ping he says,ya well that 360 is a dog now,your money.AL I even said try some octane booster,thing is hes not very good with a wrench,glad he is off my back now.Case closed.
