Hope this helps someone. decited to mini tub 6cyl. 75 dart. took a pair of 7x15 steel rims,took them to black smith shop..had them cut them in two.on a lath.. 1/2" in front of center section. used 1/8"x4" flat steel,had them roll it same diameter as the inside of the rim..ALL FOR $30.00. I then tac welded them together,,making sure to keep them square,using a mach. steel rule..when they were right i welded the 3 pieces solid...(inside & outside)Ground & smooth the outside weld..Local tire shop mounted n-50s computer ballanced them,,,surprised the _ _ _ _ out of me what little amount weights were used...set of dog dishes and looked good...
 
motorhead446; starting to take pics. would you know how to post pics. on this forum? I use( picasa ) Had to use my plasma cutter to cut the rims, Blacksmiths big lathe busted..It was 78yrs. old..Made in germany,can`t find parts to fix it. Looks like i`m going to do a little extra work!!
