Will 10" backing plates fit

I have a pair of 10" backing plates from an 8 1/4 rear will they fit an 8 3/4 rear?

watch out--if your 8 3/4 is an a body rear it has a different offset that most all other rears-- meaning the axles will need changed to match the backing plate.
