As above- mounted on small bolt Rallye wheels. Is there enough room in the rear? No rub in the front? Thanks!

Right on the edge for the front. Probably will hit the front fender when turning and or the suspension travels up and down. A 215x70x14 would be safer. As for the rear no problem. I run this combination with no negative results. 215x70x14 on factory 14x5.5 sbp on the front with 225x70x14 on the same wheels 14x5.5 sbp on the rear.

So the car has 13” wheels on it. What was the factory size of those?

On my 67 Dart that size was ok in the rear but rubbed on the lower front fender. I had sbp rallyes but I did have 73-76 factory disc brake conversion for the front. Went to 225/60/14 and solved the problem.

I should have said with 225/70/14 with drums and sbp rallies they rubbed a little on the front. Went to the lbp rallies with the disc brake conversion and they rubbed more. That conversion pushes the wheels out a little. Then the tire size change to 225/60/14 solved the problem.

No fitment issues with quite a few road miles. 225/70/14 redline radials on stock 14x5.5 wheels. Some photos of a comparison with the E70-14 bias ply stock tires and same size wheels.
