Swapped the rear in my 70 duster to a Dana 60. Can get a 4” diameter driveshaft in the right length for cheap. can I run this without clearance issues? Anything else to consider by using a 4‘’ diameter deiveshaft?

Front and rear yokes for the big u-joints, and probably have to redo your driveshaft loop, if you have one.
The tunnel should be fine, but how close is your exhaust?

What size u joints does it have? What size yoke on the diff? Kim

I have a 3.5" in my duster with a 1" lowering block on a 8.75 and it clears fine.

Also a 3.5" with 1350 joints in my Duster, 2.5" exhaust...

Thanks guys decided to go with a 3” And 1350 u-joints. That should work better for my application.
Talk to the shop building your drive-shaft, in my case 3.5" was cheaper because it common 4x4 stuff.
