Will 67 10 front brakes work on 66?

Took the front 10 inch drum brakes, backing plates, shoes, drums, hoses, ( minus the hubs) to a swap meet, guy was wondering if they would fit a 66 a-body, they are off of a 67 Dart. Told him that my understanding was that it would bolt on 10 drum spindles, but not 9 inch drum spindles. Told him I would do some checking. Will they fit a 66?

You need correct spindle for 10” drums.

Physically, they will fit. The upper and lower ball joints were the same. The center link is different on the early A-body cars though. Otherwise, it all swaps back and forth.
