Will 7 inch be ok on 69 dart

Hey Guys ...after waiting 12 weeks for rims from local dealer ...going to order from summit but they do not have the 15x6 rims. i am going with the crager magnum 510. The rear will be 245-60-15 BFG on the crager 15x7 rims and the tires on front are 205-60-15. The car is a 69 Dart with the 11.75 rotors on front and was wondering if 15X7 rims will be ok on the front. I will be trying to keep the front a little lower for a slight rake. Anyone run this on the front and any issues of rubbing with a 7" rim and 205-60-15 tire. Thanks Guys in advance.

15 x 7 with what backspacing? 4.25"-4.75" should work on the front.

I agree X2, that's what I have on my 67 with 4.25" backspace and everything fits. I'd be more concerned with the rear. I'm running 255/60's and they rub the fender lip when I do doughnuts! lol I could roll the lip for more clearance.

- I ran 15'' X 7", on both ends, with these tires, on My 65 Valiant - No problems.

OK ...thanks alot guys ...ordered the 15x7 with the 4.25 backset for the front that will have the BFG 205-60-15 and the rears will stay 15x7 also with the 245-60-15.

I went with 15x7's on all four corners on my 69 Dart and all four wheels have 4 1/8" offset. I am also running 215/65-15's on all four wheels. They fit nicely and that is with the car lowered just a little.
