Will a 727 fit?

I have a 1975 Plymouth Duster w/ a 318 and a 904 trans. Originaly it had the slant 6. I need to know if a 727 will fit in there with no extra work? Seeing as how I toasted the 904. Also what other work will have to be done to get it in there and going. Example, will I have to change yokes, driveshaft, that kinda thing.

It will fit, no problem. Same trans crossmember too. The slip yoke will be different and you'll need a shorter drive shaft. At least that's the way it is for S6 to RB swap.

It will be helpful if the 727 has the same shift linkage mounting points as the old 904. (ie: someone hasn't cut them off the 727).
