Will B body headers fit a C body

I would like to put headers in my BB 440ci 1965 C body Polara , I was told that B body headers will work and I was wondering if anyone has done this with good results.

I have a friend who has a 78 Grand Fury wagon with a 440. It has Headman shorties. They fit great. Whether they will fit the early car, I don't know, but I bet they probably will.

I could be wrong but I thought B and E bodies cross over only

Can't speak for the big block, but I know I wasted my money trying to get small block B/E body Super Comp headers to fit my 69 Fury.... After beating the hell outof them, sold them for a loss of 50 percent..........

I used b-body headers on my 69 furyiii convertible with a 360 and they fit with little effort,
