Pok gentlemen. I found two 8 3/4 rears for my 71 dart. One in nc bare housing and another about an hr away from me. The one an hr away is full chromed housing only. What I'm wonder is a 55in 8 3/4 the right one for my dart. I don't know the dimensions of the rear for a 71 dart and don't want to just toss away cash for something that's not gonna fit. He's saying nose to nose. Not sure what that means but I'm takin it as flange to flange

A body is 52 5/8". The chrome one sounds like a B body unit. Which can be made to fit, move the perches in and a little more backspacing on the wheels and it would work.
