I am putting a 408 stroker engine and am curious how well the mounting bolt holes in a v8 radiator from an early 70s a body line up with the mounting bolt holes on a 1967 Plymouth valiant that originally had the slant 6 engine.

Pretty sure there was not a unique 6 cylinder radiator support. That's very rare. The whole idea of buying a 6 cylinder was mostly for price. So it doesn't make sense that Plymouth would change the support just for 6 cylinder cars. I'm willing to bet it's a 22" core support and a 22" OEM radiator will bolt right in.

When I converted from slant 6 to big block in my 71 scamp I got a 22 inch radiator and it did indeed bolt right up.

67-72 all had the same radiator support radiator mounting holes.
