My dad built a wind dam for our open trailor. I was amazed at how well it kept the usual road dirt and grime off the car during the trip. I have a black car so it doesnt take much to get dirty. It is built from the wind dam on the cab of an old semi. It fit with no modifications but had to have a frame welded on the inside to keep it rigit. Worked great and looks good as well! For some reason this is the only photo that will upload, but you get the idea!

Looks good. Like it was made for it. I always have problem with bugs going
up and over the truck. They end up hitting the windshield of the Duster.
It's supriseing. Use the trailer for long hauls to shows. Over 2 hours. Get
as many bugs on it, as if I drove it.

Great idea! Did your dad notice any difference fuel economy or drag when towing?

When He used the trailor to take the MG to Chicago he said he was getting terrible milage with his ford F150. I pulled the Daytona with my Cummins 2500 To Indy and it pulled great and got about the same milage as with out the wind dam. I did find it hard to see behind me when I was in the passing lane. The big thing was not having to clean the car as much after I got to the event.
