I figured instead of making multiple posts ill just put them all in one

1. I'm currently building a 408 stroker and its time to pick up an oil pan and possibly a windage tray. I can find multiple oil pans no problem but from what searching I've done I cant seem to find a windage tray clearanced for a stroker. Does anyone else run one on their engine?

2.Crank scraper? Is it really a needed and or useful addition to the oiling system and would this also need to be stroker clearanced?

3. Would it be a good idea to relocate the oil filter? I've seen it done on some racecars of friends. All I know that it is good for is header clearance and ease of access but does it have any other positives other than that?

4. Pan quart size? I was looking at either a 7-8 pan because I picked up a high volume pump and know im going to need more oil than originally needed but I don't know what is too much.

I like to use a Milodon 8qt. pan and run 5 qts, (6 max.) It has a little more ground clearance than an 8qt Moroso and much nicer. Not all headers fit - TTI does and offers other benefits as well: http://www.ttiexhaust.com/ Milodon also has a 7qt for more ground clearance and possibly more header options. I heard good things about their road race version as well.

Filter doesn't need relocation with TTI's. Don't need the 90* adapter either! Just straight onto the block.

Milodon 360 pans:

I prefer a scraper over a windage tray because most aren't as efficient as they could be. But the ultimate set-up would be a combo scraper with a properly designed/customized tray. Yes, ANY scraper needs to be checked and trimmed for each application. But you can get more info here:
