Window felt question

Bought a window felt kit from pui interiors and it does not look the same as original ones, is there a special way to install these window felts from pui? Any one know of a place to get the oem style?
In the pic is the new felt from pui

The oem style had a U channel (metal) with the felt attached to it and the new one from pui has no u channel so I'm just guessing glue it?

What are you working on? Are you sure you have the correct parts?

I'm working on a 73 scamp, pretty sure I have the right parts, all came in a box from pui bought the inside window felts and exterior window swipe trims (which fit like a glove)

I looked into some of the older forums and it looks like some guys were using small screws to attach the felts to the plastic trim?

I got mine from Steel popped right in . there where LH & RH mine went on a 72 Demon
