ok folks. Been working on the 69 dart. On the passenger side front door the window rivet, the part that holds the glass to the mounting bracket with the track (that goes on the roller) was out. The glass was loose and being held up by the roller. I found the track bracket and rivet in the bottom of the door. So I’ll order a new rivet but how does it stay on? There’s no retainer? How do you install the rivet?

Second, on the drivers side the rivet along with the bracket that has the track to go on the roller is missing. Where can I get one?

I bought a few window rivits at Carlisle last year. 70 dart
Think I got them from
Mega parts Usa
I can check part #. Tomorrow
Fyi. They are a push type rivit
Push stem in to set rivit

Ok I got the rivet figured out. So. See pic. Is my orientation correct of does the rivet go in from other side. second, anyone have a source for the bracket circled as I need one

Although it doesn't make a big difference... poke the rivet through glass and saddle from side you see, the easiest way. If you ever need to remove that rivet again, you can try to pick the center pin back out or drive it clear through will work too. Plastic rivets break when it old and brittle regardless.
That saddle should have a liner of felt in it so metal doesn't even contact much less scrub at the edge of the glass. Hopefully that sheds light on why the rivet is made of plastic. Cracks grow from the tiniest chips.
I don't have spare saddle to offer.
