Windshield Glass

Along with the gasket I already have from YearOne, what is a good source for the glass? I've heard some chatter about some glass being thicker than others? Thoughts?

when I worked in the glass industry, we found that PPG (or PGW now I guess) was thicker than the Chinese brands (like Benson). The Benson glass almost felt like either a 3mm and a 2 mm, or two 2mm layers, rather than the two x 3mm layers used by PPG. We never actually checked it to be sure, but the Benson felt lighter than the PPG for sure.
Personally, PPG is the only glass I'd get (and pretty much any windshield you might want is available through one of their suppliers).

There are several sellers on ebay with PGW glass. They have a lot of pickup locations. See if one is near you. I think i paid $125 and I only had about a half hour drive for my windshield.
