Thanks, Mr. V. Kinda what I thought. I can also see that your gasket also does not extend far out horizontally and make a nice, tight seal, esp. at the corners.
For now, I'm going with my orig. gasket, until I hear reports about which vendors' gskets are a decent fit. Its quite flexible (1964) and only a foot or so of the lip that would have extended out to the sheet metal has cracked away.
Its hard to go to a concour car show, come home, and use a gasket that looks a bit rough up close. But $100 should get me the window cat whiskers, that are more essential. Still have not found the proper thickness replacement for a 64 Dart.
