Hi Folks

Has anyone recently purchased a windshield gasket/seal and if so are they exact replicas of the originals. Have been looking for one but they dont seem to be like my original one I took out. Mine has a 1 1/2 inch flap on the top that the headliner tucks into.

Here is a pic of the flap on mine. Any suggestions?

SteeleRubber has them, Dante's, year one, etc...When you say that the ones you are looking at don't have the flap, where are you seeing that? I would not trust a "from stock" photo representation of the gasket...When I got mine, it was a precision brand ( not sure where I got it ) and the lock strip from SteelRubber but will be doing all of my replacement rubber business with SteeleRubber in the future. The guys know their stuff and are nice on the phone.
And as for them being exact? pretty close, not anything like aftermarket sheet metal. The new gasket wont be like your 30+ yr old gasket anyway, that old crusty thing has shrunk, cracked and molded itself to the body...
