Upon the conclusion of my father's 65 GTO rebuild in the fall of 2017, I came down with the classic car bug, and found myself a '71 Dart Swinger immediately following his completion. I was looking for a driver car, in good shape, but could use work throughout the winter months. The previous owner had it re-painted and the interior soft-goods redone, however after further investigation, what lied underneath still needed work. After acquiring the car in September, the immediate need for front suspension, steering and braking took place. Thanks to P-S-T, Classic Industries and Rock-Auto, the parts were readily acceptable, and P-S-T was there to help with a few hiccups during the new SBP disc brake swap. Jumping to November, the interior disassembly started, removing the seats, carpet, rear side paneling, and package tray. The most difficult task was fitting and replacing the floor patches in the foot areas up front, but I was fortunate to have my dad's help and knowledge along the way... As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words, so I'll let them do the talking. It was a great experience and an enjoyable winter project with Dad!!
