Well I have to say Im a little sad to be leaving such a big beautiful house but I'll be glad not to have to pay for it. I'll also be happy to not spend all day cleaning it.

The Landlord was a little shocked when I told him we would be out at the end of the month. O'well, Maybe when the next tenants complain about the high electric bill he will look in to ways to lower it.

I have the very same bird feeder here in my yard,

It's got a ton of insulation anyway! Just ask your closest Eskimo how good an insulator snow can be! :D

PS: We put fresh antifreeze in the car in the fall when the heater core was changed so I guarantee it's doing fine. :)

I know it's got anitfreeze I was trying to be funny instead of real serious.
LOL.

Well if there is anyone in my area here in the mid south, Get ready!!
To day it was nice and sunny at 50 deg's.
And the low to mid 20's are coming for our night time lows and a Big chance of allot of snow Friday and
Saturday.
We don't get very much snow here and I hope it piles up to a foot or two.
The grocer's will be busy tomorrow and gas stations.
here it comes friends close by.
I have my camera ready and can't wait to see the roads shut down and we all have a day to enjoy winters wonders.

Let it snow!! let it snow!.

Last years only good snow we had and then it was back in to the mid 60's
I want a good picture of my new home with snow.

Mike, if you lived anywhere near me you would be so sick of snow this year you would never want to see it again. Yesterday we got about 2 inch's of snow, an inch of ice pellets and then 1/2 inch of freezing rain. Luckily it turned to just good old rain and the roads are pretty good this morning. Did I mention I am sick of winter.

Jack

Well I'm Sick Of It Too. Went To Toronto To Massey Hall To See Steve Earl. New A Storm Was Coming But What Do You Do. Concert Was Great Till The First Intermition. Walked By The Front Door To Go Down Stairs To Get Some Drink Into Me And It Was A White Out. After Drink Was Down Back Upstairs To See Steve. He Was Done Around 11 . Looked Outside And Said Perfect It Stoped Snowing Till We Actually Walked Outside Too Frezzing Rain. The Drive Should Have Taken Us 1 1/5 Hours. I Walked In My Door At 2:10. Oh Yea I Had To Get Up At 6 To Clean The Parking Lot Out And Then Go To Work At 7. Lets Just Say I Slept Pretty Dam Good Last Night. And On Top Of All This My Step Daughter Moved In With Her Boyfriend. She Just Turned 18 And Still In Highschool. What A Day. Nothing I Could Say Would Change Her Mine. She Wants To Do What She Wants When She wants And No Rules At Home. She Has No Idea What Living On Her Own Is Going To Be Like.

Sorry guys !! But I got the response I thought I would get.:angel9:
I am ready for spring too.
But we have a winter storm coming and it will be a mess I am sure for some folks here. They are already starting to shut schools down for Friday.
I hope yall get a break from it and we get pilled on.:toothy10:

MIKE How dare you say that 4 letter word on here!!!
You should be keel hauled :-D Tim

You are probably right Pine Tree Mopar.
What the heck is Keel hauled ? What ever it means ,
It sure don't sound good.:axe:

Keel hauled is an old time sailing term. It was when you were a bad sailor or an enemy and they tied a rope around you and the back of a sailing ship and then tossed you overboard. You were hauled through the ocean by the ship.

Not a good thing Mike. LOL

Keel haul; A medeival naval punishment that involves tying a line to each arm of the convicted sailor and pushing him off the bow of the ship under sail. The sailor was 'hauled' along the barnacle encrusted 'keel' of the vessel aided by the movement of the ship and pulled back aboard at the stern of the ship. It hurt really bad. :pirat:
Just remember this the next time you get ready to mention the S word. :-\" Tim

Let it now let it now let it now;)

You're right too Jack. It has similar meanings, and both would suck.

Funny Mike. I've been clearing "now" all winter, 1-2 times a week, since December. We've had more than 140" so far this year.

What the heck ever happened to global warming? Tim

Cheeeez that is allot of now.

I have not seen my lawn since Thanksgiving and it has been snowing every since. Even by my standards this has been one hell of a winter and its not done yet! We had rain and lots of it arrive this Tuesday so the entire reigion was racing to get the THREE FREAKING FEET of snow off of our roofs this weekend. If someone sees Al Gore hand him a shovel!

My $0.02 -LY

I would like to hit him with the shovel and then stick the handle where the sun don't shine. I'll tell you how I really feel some other time. LOL

Jack

Dont' even get me started. Every year we have to plant in a seemingly ever-shrinking growing season. We came -> <- close to loosing the whole apple crop last October thanx to early frosts and got 4 inches of new snow on mother's day. Global Warming my EGR Valve!

Rant: over.

P.S. I dont' actaully have any EGR valves!

Heck I wish we would get some snow it might warm up then.
Had -8 degrees F. this morning expecting -12 to -14 tonight.
Seems like one or 2 days a week since January we've had below 0 temps.
Global warming ya right! :angry7:
