Wiper Arm Linkage

I have a 73 Swinger, when I got the car the wipers didnt work , I could hear the motor run but the wipers didnt move. When I got under the dash The
arm that connects to the wiper motor was disconnected. I picked up the retainer that looks like a soda can pop top at Carlisle. When I got back under the dash the entire arm was laying on the underside of the dash it is also disconnected from the driver side wiper pivot. I don't have the clip but I couldn't figure out how it connects . It seems the other arm is in the way. Can anyone tell me where and how the arm connects without getting in the way of the other arm and what retainer to use.

Ev2ARR,
do a search on this site ,I know that somebody here helped us out when we did my sons Duster,We had the same problem about 2years ago.
I beleive it was 74 sport who sent pics and a great description of how to fix em .
