wiper linkage parts?

Does anyone sell parts to rebuild wiper linkage? My wipers always made this annoying "clang/clink" when i turned them on and now that my car is apart, it looks like someone jerry rigged the linkage bar mount that's right behind the gauge panel. There is loose safety wire(if not actually coat hanger metal) bent to hold the bar in place.

Could it just be missing the nylon grommet/retainer?
You can tell if it takes these from the little slot in the metal arm.
