Right now my wiper motor is run by a direct 12v pickup with a toggle switch. It runs at full blast all the time.

Until I can get a wiper switch to slow it down....can I use a resistor in the circuit to ease it up a bit?

It's a 74 Dart Sport.

Thanks

Brian

You can if you use the proper value of resistor and more importantly the proper wattage. You're simply trying to drop voltage across a resistor but you're dealing with a lot of current so size the resistor accordingly. Keep in mind that current is the same in all parts of a series circuit which is essentially what you have.
