Wiper Pivot Access

I need to replace the wiper pivot seals on my 68 Dart A/C car. Is it possible to access and remove the pivots without pulling either the gauge cluster or heater box???

Do you guys have any tips or tricks for accessing the pivots?

With the heater box in the car, I would remove the gauge cluster and glove box. It is not difficult to remove those and you will have good access with them out of the way.

I can get to mine by just pulling the cluster. The passenger pivot is almost in the middle. You may have to drop the column to get your cluster out though.

I do it without removing anything.

If you remove pivots, there is a mod you can do. Drill a small hole in each pivot and add a grease nipple.
