wipers dont park

I got a new wiper switch and had my wiper motor rebuilt, I watched the guy building it test it and everything worked including the park position. I hooked it up I my car everything works but the park position, wont shut off. what did I do wrong ?

the switch will not park unless the dash is screwed to the frame it needs this to ground the switch
