71 Dodge demon, originally slant 6 now 340. Can anyone identify this pig tail?
It’s coming from the area of the engine harness with the alternator wires in it.
I’m guessing a/c plug but I am not sure..thanks

The pictured connector connects to the solenoid vacuum valve which is part of the NOx emissions control system.

The original solenoid vacuum valve looks like the following image:

On a six cylinder the valve was mounted to a bracket located as shown in the following image:

The wiring for the valve and system for an automatic transmission car is as shown in the following image:

If not used, the connector can remain disconnected.
