wiring 56 chevy pickup

i started the install of a new wiring harness in a friends 56 chevy 1/2 ton.worked all day.the only stuff left is the taillights and gauges....View attachment Img_01484.jpg

GUY brought me a steering column to change out because it has the turn signal switch in it and the box has no play.so looks like an additional day of chevy truck work.at least when i'm done my darts reg will be paid.new tags woo hoo!:blob:ccasion::cheers:

finished the truck today,customer picked it up told him 350.00 he gave me 400.00 nice payday....

we didnot end using the factory turn signal switch,he bought an aftermarket one that clamps on the column.the intsuctions were wrong for the front blinkers.swapped them today all good everything works and is bright....View attachment Img_01481.jpg

Nice. The old chrome one,Ben around 40 years . Was listed in Napa Balkamp/ Peterson lighting. Nice payday.

good job man! those trucks have some pretty bare bones wiring. I remember when I had to pull.the engine and tranny out of a '59 Apache. It made my truck look like a DeLorean
