wiring harness problem

So I was researching American Auto Wiring for a complete harness kit for my 1972 Duster 340.....In reading thier summary paragraph it is mentioned,,"wiring for internal 1 wire alternator "I can purchase the correct alternator. It also mentions wires for points ignition but not electronic which my 72 duster has...I called technical support and person said the kit would not work....Anyone have any truth to this ? If my memory is correct ,same with Kwik Wire and Classic Industries.

Go to classic Industries, they where the only one that had it for my 72 340 Demon
