Like the title says, I am trying to buy a NOS chin spoiler to fit the early Dusters 70-72. Part number is P3690878. The seller is asking a bunch for it and I don't want to insult him or come off as cheap (I am), but I'd like to make him a solid offer.

I am concerned about bolting a 45 year old piece of plastic to the front of my car. My car is driven fast and I don't want to ruin a piece of history, but think that this would be a perfect piece to go with my Day 2 look.

Does anyone have a picture of the DC spoiler installed? I did a search and didn't find much. Thanks for any help!

Thanks! I actually found an old thread of yours about the spoiler. I'd like to see what it looks like on an earlier Duster.

There was a company producing a fiberglass version a while back. They were not perfect by any means and were a tad longer if I remember correctly. I luckily bought a factory DC tail spoiler and chin spoiler new for my Demon. Yet to install. Still in boxes and I’d say they are fine for use today. (but not for sale) I’d bolt them on and run full speed - the chin spoilers did not react with speed bumps well with low front ends.

I know there are several spoilers available from Randy’s down to the Ford Ranger one. I’m trying to get information about this specific spoiler. I’m trying to build my car as if it’s the summer of 1980.

NOS rears can bring $500-$600, fronts are probably similar money but they sometimes pop up around $250-$300. I can dig mine out (MAS racing copy so it's fiberglass vs plastic) and mock it up if no one ends up having photos of one on a 70-72.
