just got a 66 valiant for parts. whats a fair price to ask for a excellent uncracked dash pad? thanks in advance for your input

A vintage uncracked dash pad is worth between $125-$200 depending on how brittle it is.

If it is still very soft and supple, high end of range. If it is distorted or exhibits hard surface or wants to crack when pushed on, low end.

New replicas in original supple condition can be had for $250.

I beg to differ, there are no reproductions of the 66 Valiant/Barracuda dash pad, and although new pads for 2nd generation A bodies can be had for $250, you would be hard pressed to find a really nice, uncracked 66 dash pad for $250, especially in black! If it in fact for sale for $250, it will be bought quickly at that price, which IMO is a spot on price for it! I've sold near perfect 66 Cuda/Valiant black dash pads for as high as $440, which was an ebay bid sale and not a for sale listing! If I were to list one, it would be for $250!
