workbench ideas and pics

I wanted to put a workbench in my garage. I have a rolling workbench right now My dad gave me I bought a shop light from lowes. I need some ideas and pics. thanks

I made mine out of recycled stuff. I found a big electronics rack put it on the side and then found a diving board and cut it down to size...man them boards are tough....sanded some of the non-scid of it and it's been a great work bench. Old diving boards can be found at pool stores. Those electronic racks are heavy duty.

I bought a section of pallet rack and cut it down in width and height, use some "2 by x" for the top and it will hold up to anything you can dish out. I think it was rated at 5k lbs/shelf!

Couple sheets of plywood and a arm full of 2x4s and start cutting.

Mine is a 10 foot section of an old bowling alley lane, very sturdy, very heavy, and seemingly indestructible.
