Worn out yolk?

-
I think I may have it solved... I borrowed a yoke from my driveline guy and it is about 1.5" longer than mine and gives me full spline engagement .
I installed the driveshaft with the tailhousing off and it is obvious I need a longer yoke .
I also notice there is some play in the output shaft without the housing on but assume that might be norrmal without the support of the rear bearing.

While I am at it I also ordered new neutral switch and Energy Suspension mount . That mount is about 3/4" taller than the stock one ! I called them to make sure I didnt order the wrong one but it is the only one they offer for 67-71 mopar . When I asked if people complained about it throwing the pinion angle off he didnt know what I was talking about .

Ok ... so after some research on trany mounts I have found my old ratty one may have been the same hieght when new but got mashed over the years. And after looking at it closely I believe it !

Glad u may have got it cased. So how did ur driveline guy check the pinion angle and say it was good? Seems he may need a refresher course. Kim
