Wtb: 1973 Sunroof Parts Space/moon Duster

Hi List:
I have been working on a 73 Factory "Space Moon" DUSTER for a while now.
Most of it is sorted back to original except the moon roof.
Looking at the Factory Tech Manual-- it looks like part # 28 is stripped.... its the piece that inserts into the inner gears of the roof mechanism from the end of the handle assembly.
In reading through previous posts== this looks like a good luck item.
Maybe today is my lucky day?
Any help / leads would be appreciated.

The two high wear items are the gear itself probably what you're calling #28 and the cable retainer guide where the two cables meet with the gear in the middle.

Post a want ad in the www.moparts.com A body section and keep a search going on Ebay for sunroof parts.

I let a spare set go with my #'s matching 1973 SpaceDuster340-4spd, M52, C73, Basin Street Blue beauty last year when I sold it.
