WTW, who does this and why? Spark Plug Mystery

I got a head last week.
These Accel plugs were in it.
Any ideas why someone would do this?
To all of them?

Maybe they have a 100,000 volt system?

Maybe they are storage plugs, all used up, clip off the lead, no confusion

I've seen them side gapped, but never like that. They were either running a LOT of ignition and could make the jump, OR they tried something stupid just to try it.

For that to work you'd need a serious ignition system. First, for it to work properly, those plugs should be non-resistor. Second, look into Plasma Discharge Ignition (or PDI for short).
