Ya think this Timing Chain may have stretched a bit?

Sounded like my timing chain was slapping the cover last time we had the Duster running. Finally decided to take her apart for a look see. Man, I am glad I did it cause that sucker was loose. :tard: Got the new gear & chain set installed today and will be starting the process of putting everything back together.

That is a lot of play. Consider using a tensioner. You won't regret it
 
How many miles on that chain , and what brand is it ?

It was on the car when I bought it Jerry6, no idea how many miles or brand. Didn't hear it slapping the cover until I replaced the header gaskets to fix the ridiculous leak. I can say, the new chain is much tighter!
