Check it out. An MRI machine magnetically pulled A HOSPITAL BED into itself trapping a nurse between the bed and MRI machine. She had to have screws surgically removed from her body. Talk about animal magnetism.

It’s sad, there was an 6 old boy that died 22 years ago, he was having an MRI performed. A technician brought in an oxygen tank, the MRI machine sucked it in where it crushed his skull.

That is sad. Totally preventable with common sense.

Those things ain't no joke! Years ago when I was an EMT, I accidentally walked into an MRI room with my metal clipboard. The MRI technician just about tackled me into the hallway -- football style. He was not happy.

I have a pacemaker, can't have an MRI because of it.
I won't go thru metal detectors either, the magnets will mess up the settings.
Not supposed to happen with this pacer, but it sure as hell did with the last one.

My wife has a BB in her temple since she was a kid (playing around with a BB gun). They can't remove it since it might affect the nerves in her face and paralyze half her face. She has never been able to get an MRI because of it. They told her it would rip right out of her.
I don't see that one. BB's are copper. That's non magnetic if I am not mistaken.

Copper coated but steel inside. This happened way back in the day (80's), and I guess that's how they were made then.

I mess with her sometimes by holding a magnet next to her head where it is. Drives her crazy because it pulls on it. Heh. It's amazing that woman hasn't killed me in my sleep.
Yeah then she better stay away from dat chit then. lol
