I bought everything to rebuild my rear .Got it all from the Dr D. But when the gears came I noticed the splines are different then what I had.I had 29 the new one is 10. So I need to order a new yoke. That's my question what yoke do you guys recommend and what u-joint? I have a 8 3/4 rear with a 4sd. 489 case!

Simply, can you send the ring & pinion back? If it's been sitting on the shelf a while.?

No I just got it. I thought about it but there was no choose when I ordered the gears.I guess they come with just 10 spline?

You'll never know unless you ask.

I consider the steel billet yokes that Mancini and some other sources sell as the best you can get. They also have u-bolts as opposed to OEM style straps. OEM versions can spread if beat on over time which will spit the driveshaft out. I learned the hard way. They are available in 7260, 7290 and 1350. Spicer solid joints compliment the yokes very well.
